8 Week Intermediate On Camera Reggaetón Workshop. Please read ALL information below! NOTE: Please only register for this workshop if you are at the Intermediate level! If you are not sure please email stefdwill@gmail.com. Intermediate dancer requirements: - Minimum of 2-3 years of dance experience preferably in reggaeton, hip hop, dancehall and/or Latin fusion - Training should be recent and have been consistent and in class room - Comfortable picking up choreography - Confident in executing/performing choreography in front of a camera - Confidence in personal freestyle - Ability to adapt to quick changes on the spot - Can take feedback and apply it on the spot Note: Given that this is an on-set experience there can be a storyline or concept incorporated into the filming. Dancers may be expected to embody an alter ego, character or specific emotion for camera The main objective of this 8-week Reggaetón program is to give dancers an industry like experience. It is an on camera workshop catered to experienced dancers that are either looking to pursue dance professionally or are curious about the professional dance industry in general. Dancers will gain an understanding of what it takes to learn choreography under pressure in preparation for a concept video/music video shoot. Dancers will be challenged from week to week as they learn, refine, and adapt to choreography. The workshop day will involve a professionally shot concept/music video at a special shoot location by a professional videographer. Dancers will be challenged as they must now take everything they learned and perform it for camera. Here is some of what you can expect from this program: - A professionally shot and edited video - On set location for final shoot day - Reggaetón Choreography - Refinement of movements - Performance feedback (Facials, working the camera etc.) - Industry tips and feedback - Outfit and make-up tips for shoots - Video Release Party - Access to private group chat and social events Workshop Dates (Saturdays 1:30-3:30pm) March 22, 29 April 5, 12, 26 (No Class April 19) May 3, 10 Shoot Date: Sunday May 18 (Must be available ALL day.
